​Crystalline Silica (SiO2- silicon and oxygen) is at least 95% pure silica. It is an essential component of materials which have an abundance of uses in industry and are vital in many products and objects we use everyday: it is impossible to imagine houses without bricks, concrete or windows, cars without engines or windscreens, life without roads or other transport infrastructures and everyday items made of glass or pottery. We use more of this natural resource than of any other except Air and Water. Humans currently consume nearly 50 billion tons of sand and gravel every year. It has become indispensable to almost everyone in the twenty-first century.
 
Whole Grain Silica products range in size, distributions, grain shapes, and chemical purity. It is used in Construction & Road building, Beach restoration, Golf course sand traps, Baseball fields and a whole range of decorative application industries.

Screen & Washed Silica is used predominantly (20/40, 40/70,100 & 200 mesh) in Fracking sand for the oil Industry and float glass manufacturing. It is also used in Paints, Ceramics, in the manufacturing of Glass products, including Architectural and Solar Glass applications, as well as in the Foundry and Building products industry.

Ground Silica, depending on size and purity (400 mesh and smaller) is used in plastics, rubber, polishes, cleansers, paints, glazes, textile fiberglass, precision castings, premium paints, specialty coatings, sealants, silicone rubber, and epoxies.

Whole grain & Screened/Washed Silica products will account for approximately 100% of TIBITI’s projected sales for the first two to three years of production. Our powder production is planed in Year three or as soon as plans have been concluded and customers have been engaged.
